Peel Children’s Aid Foundation is extremely proud to have Peel Regional Police’s Chief Mike Metcalf as its Champion for Children.
I’ve been around children a long time and over the years I’ve developed a soft spot for children.
The hardest cases we work on are the ones that involve kids. There is a misunderstanding of what Children’s Aid does, so when I was asked to be the Foundation’s Champion for Children I thought I might be able to help change that.
I have seen first-hand what a difference working together with Children’s Aid can make. It is amazing the amount of work that is done to keep children out of care and with their families.
So I’m doing what I can to be involved and share an important message. We need to invest in kids to ensure our future. How can you help? Get involved and see what a difference a little support can make.
